First video game was…

According to some data world’s first video game was invented in 1950 by an inventor named Joseph Kates. It was “Bertie the Brain”. It was actually the famous childhood game known as “Tic-Tac-Toe”. The game was first displayed in the Canadian National Exhibition.

For many weeks visitors to the exhibition were allowed to challenge themselves to the artificial intelligence of Bertie. Nowadays such a simple game would seem dull to us, but at those times this game was something extraordinary, unknown, unseen before. Sadly the video game was disassembled at the end of this exhibition and this piece of human history disappeared like never existed before.
